Position Summary We're looking for an upbeat, caring Activities Aide to help plan and lead recreational, social, and therapeutic programs for our residents. If you enjoy working with seniors, bring creativity and energy to everything you do, and want to make a real difference every day, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Assist in planning, setting up, and leading daily group and one-on-one activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events Encourage residents to participate, adapting activities to individual abilities and interests Provide in-room visits and activities for residents unable to attend group programs Help transport and escort residents to and from activities Document resident participation and attendance accurately and on time Assist with monthly activity calendars, holiday celebrations, and special programs Communicate with nursing staff and other departments about residents' needs and changes Maintain a clean, safe, and organized activity space and supplies Treat all residents with dignity and respect, and follow facility policies and resident rights Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working with seniors in long-term care, assisted living, or a similar setting preferred, but not required Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lead groups and engage residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities Ability to stand, walk, and assist with transporting residents throughout the shift Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team and help bring joy, connection, and purpose to our residents' lives.
