Student Description Job Summary/Description/Physical Demands Under direct supervision of the Campus Recreation Manager, the Office Service Aide supports daily operations of the NMHU Outdoors Recreation Center and Health and Wellness Space by assisting with equipment rentals, customer service, facility organization, and planning and coordination of all Outdoor Recreation excursions and events.

This position helps promote safe, inclusive, and engaging outdoor recreation opportunities for the NMHU community. This position will also assist with all Health and Wellness classes, activities and events as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This incumbent selected for this position will be places in either the NMHU Outdoor Recreation enter or the NMHU Health and Wellness Space depending on staffing needs. The duties below are related to either space. Assist with outdoor equipment rentals, check-outs, and returns Assist with Health ans Wellness Classes (Zumba,Yoga,ETC.) Ensuring all correct waivers have been completed and signed by patrons. Provide customer service and general information to students, faculty, and staff. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of recreation equipment. Support Outdoor Recreation programs, trips, and special events as assigned. Safety lift, move, transport, and set up recreation equipment as required. Follow all NMHU policies, safety procedures, and risk management protocols and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled as an NMHU Student. Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification or willingness to become certified. Current Defensive Driving Certification or willingness to become certified. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Interest in ourdoor recreation and wellness/ Ability to lift push, and pull equipment weighing up to 60 lbs. Ability to stand. walk. and bend for an extended period of time. Ability to work indoors and outdoors with varying weather conditions.
