PM Saturdays:

11:00 AM-4:00 PM This is a fixed schedule position. Candidates must be available for all listed shifts. Scheduling flexibility, substitutions, or adjustments are not available at this time. The Opportunity We are seeking a Teen Specialist to help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for teens in our after-school and summer programs. This is a hands-on role—you won't be sitting behind a desk. You'll be leading activities, mentoring teens, and helping them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed. What You'll Do Lead and supervise after-school and weekend activities for teens. Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate programs in arts, sports, leadership, and mentoring. Build positive, trusting relationships with teens while supporting their personal and social development. Actively engage with youth during each shift—leading games, mentoring, and facilitating group activities. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Assist with meal service and supervise mealtime activities. Collaborate with colleagues to meet program goals and ensure high-quality experiences for teens. Maintain accurate attendance and participation records. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred). Previous experience working with teens in community, school, or youth program settings. Strong communication and mentorship skills. Ability to plan and lead engaging, hands-on activities. Understanding of adolescent development and positive behavior management. A team player who thrives in a diverse environment. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass required background checks. Must be available for all scheduled shifts. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and actively engage with youth for extended periods. Comfortable leading games, sports, or group activities. May occasionally need to lift up to 20-30 lbs (supplies, snacks, program materials).
