ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT
you will be responsible for assisting in providing a program of activities, which will cover the spiritual, social, recreational, and educational needs of residents. You will find meaningful work in this role with the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact every day!
Responsibilities:
Leads group and one-on-one activities as directed by the Activity Director. Assists in planning activity program for residents. Assists in recruiting residents for activity programs, resident council, etc. Transport residents to and from activities, meals, and appointments. Accompanies residents to activity programs outside the facility. Assesses resident needs and develops goals and approaches to any identified problems.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or
GED/TASC
required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience working with the geriatric population and/or in a recreational setting is preferred. Ability to lift over 60 pounds, stand, walk, sit, bend, and twist. Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks and assignments. Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, vendors, and volunteers.
