The driver is responsible for transporting residents for professional appointments, activities, and shopping using vehicles provided by management. This individual will find meaningful work in this role with the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact every day! !
Responsibilities:
Responsible for transporting residents to professional appointments such as the doctor or dentist as per their schedule. May provide transportation on a selected basis to miscellaneous activities such as funerals or other activities. Provide transportation to specific designated shopping trips and religious activities for the residents interested in those particular activities. Assist residents with entry into and out of the vehicle and assist with wheel chair or other devices they may require. Load and unload resident's packages or other items as required.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Valid New York State Driver's License with safe driving record CDL B license with passenger endorsement required (must be able to pass all 19A requirements) Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, resident, vendors, volunteers, and the public, in person and via the telephone. Ability to lift over 60 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and squat repetitively.
