  • Immediately Available The W Group at Green Hills Home for Adults is looking to hire a Recreation Coordinator with a "Yes I Can" attitude. We're seeking a compassionate, energetic, and highly organized professional to lead our recreation program at one of our assisted living communities. Full-Time
  • Days, Evenings, and Weekends
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in recreation management or a related field, with knowledge of a variety of recreational areas: Art, Music, Dance, Trivia, Games, Exercise, Movies, Literature, and Poetry Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage residents and staff Ability to design, organize, and oversee diverse recreational activities that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of all residents Excellent communication skills to lead activities in large groups, small groups, and one-on-one settings Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, residents, and external community partners Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt programs to meet resident needs College degree required; experience in recreation or a related field preferred
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and oversee all recreation programs and activities to ensure a vibrant and engaging resident experience Supervise recreation staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high-quality programming Coordinate services and events with community agencies and resources to enhance the department's offerings Regularly evaluate programs and gather resident feedback to continuously improve and adapt activities Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and regulations Manage the recreation department's budget, scheduling, and resources efficiently Perform other duties as needed to support the facility's mission and resident well-being
