In this vibrant role, you will inspire and guide children through engaging activities that foster creativity, physical activity, and scientific curiosity. Your enthusiasm and leadership will create a safe, fun-filled environment where kids can explore new interests, develop essential skills, and build lasting memories. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate daily camp activities focused on sports, arts, and STEM projects that promote active learning and creativity Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by supervising their participation and managing behavior effectively through classroom management techniques Assist with setting up activity spaces, preparing materials, and maintaining a clean and organized environment Support children with diverse needs by applying inclusive teaching strategies and understanding principles of special education when necessary Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns in a professional manner Implement first aid procedures promptly and accurately in case of minor injuries or emergencies Foster a positive atmosphere by encouraging teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship among campers Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or summer camps is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies to support age-appropriate activities Background in teaching, early childhood education, or special education enhances your ability to engage diverse learners effectively Skills in sports coaching, theater arts, or STEM activities are a plus for leading specialized enrichment sessions Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during camp hours Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while maintaining a lively and motivating environment Join us to create an energetic summer experience that inspires young minds!
