Job Description

A Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for a Part-time Activities Assistants to help with the day-to-day activities and programs in our Long-Term Skilled Nursing Facility.

Essential Job Functions :

Assist the activities director in planning, organizing, and implementing various activities. Meet resident needs and interests, taking into account the abilities and physical limitations of each individual resident. Participation in the resident's plan of care and documents residents specific interests and participation. Document attendance at activities. Work with volunteer staff to ensure smooth operations of activities programs.

Requirements:

Must be an energetic individual who can assist in various activities in both small and large group settings Experience in running/assisting group programs while interacting well with different personalities, memory care setting preferred Recreation license or certification a plus Must have a friendly and outgoing personality that enjoys helping the elderly

Pay:

$20.00 per hour Application Question(s): Can you commute to Rockland County, 10956? Can you work Full-time from 9am-5pm including every other Saturday & Sunday?

Experience:

Recreational work w/elderly: 1 year (Required)
