Job Description
Elmwood Assisted Living & Memory Care of Fremont is currently seeking a part-time activities assistant. This individual must be a self-starter , motivated, have a happy personality and disposition, and possess the ability to stay very active and engaged with the residents by executing a successful activities program to our residents with cognitive impairments. This position will be working primarily with residents with Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia and residents with cognitive impairments. In depth training on Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia will be provided at the time of hire and on an on-going basis. This position is 4 days per week one week, and 3 days per week the other following week (this schedule rotates), working rotating weekends and rotating holidays from the hours of 4:30pm-7:30pm . This position may be cross-trained as a Care Manager who will provide care to our residents as needed. Individuals who apply for this position must be willing to work as Care Managers as well as an Activity Assistant as the need arises .
