Role:

As an Activities Assistant at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will: Plan and lead a variety of activities, including games, outings, and entertainment events, to engage residents and promote socialization and cognitive stimulation Conduct individual and group assessments to identify resident interests and preferences, and tailor activities accordingly Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement activity programs that meet the needs of our residents Maintain accurate records of activities and participation, and report any concerns or issues to management Provide support and assistance to residents with daily living activities as needed

Requirements:

1 years of experience in a healthcare (or related field) High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and move residents as needed
