Full time and part time available. About us Holly Residential Care Center, owned and operated by 'Ohana Ventures, is a premier senior living community seeking Activity Assistants to join our team. The Activity Assistant is responsible for providing daily activities to residents as outlined on monthly calendar, accompanying residents on outings and coordinating resident events. Seeking high energy and self-motivated individual to assist in the program.
Activity Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist in development of activity program to addresses all resident psychosocial and spiritual needs. Plans parties, provides games and entertainment and encourages residents to assist in that planning, such as making decorations, wrapping gifts, crafts, etc. Initiates and promotes activities both within the facility and out in the community to stimulate and promote resident interest and well-being. Documents significant information in the resident record and in the facility communication system as needed. Encourage intellectual/ educational development through literature, lectures, movies and cultural events. Maintains a record of resident activities. Is responsible for the appearance of the activity area. Incorporates choice, dignity, independence, individuality and privacy into job performance on a daily basis. Encourages staff to uphold the same principles.Benefits include:
