Qualifications:
General - Staff persons who come into direct contact with consumers shall have the following prior to employment, or within 30 days of the date of hire: 1) Completed application on file. 2) Policy and Procedure signed on file. 3) Equal Opportunity on file. 4) References on file. 5) Hand washing form signed. 6) PPD completed on file. 7) Hepatitis B form completed on file. 8) Copy of Drivers License on file. 9) Copy of Social Security Card on file. 10) Copy of Criminal Background Check on file. 11) Copy of Child Abuse Clearance on file. 12) Copy of W-4 on file. 13) Copy of I-9 on file.
Education/Experience:
The Staffing Coordinator shall have at least one of the following qualifications: High school diploma GED equivalent. One or more years or related experience in working with individuals in a healthcare or social service setting. Some Computer experience. Satisfactory completion of requirements of the Department of Education necessary to be a nursing assistant. Responsibilities of the Staffing Coordinator The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating care, and schedules for each individual as needed. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for office duties that include but are not limited to answering phones, schedules, checking voice mail, incoming and outgoing faxes, incoming and outgoing email, communicating with the individuals, their families, nurses, and case workers involved in their case. The Staffing Coordinator must be able to be on call at times, and must be able to perform the job duties of a Direct Care Worker if needed. Must be able to manage employees in a professional manner, will need to teach and discipline Direct Care Workers. Will be responsible for hiring new staff, and terminating staff if needed.
