Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment For over 60 years, St. Anne Home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, has been committed to offering superior health care services to the senior members of our community. We are seeking to fill the position of Activities Aide. Full-Time, variable schedule based on St. Anne Home needs, plus Every Other Weekend. Starting at $15 per hour.
Activities Aide Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Desire to engage with the Senior community; experience preferred but not required. Computer literate with training on entering resident care plan codes (MDS), preferred. Must be able to speak, write and understand English.
Activities Aide Working Conditions:
Bending, standing, sitting, lifting, walking and moving intermittently during working hours. Must assist in the evacuation of residents as necessary.
Activities Aide Job Summary:
Assist in planning, organizing and implementing activities - movies, parties, games, crafts. Assist the Activity Director with preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of each resident. Review activities needs assessments. Develop and maintain a good rapport with all the services involved with the care plan. Encourage resident participation and social communication during group activities and recreation. Assist in the transportation of residents to activities. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
