We are seeking to fill the position of Activities Aide. Full-Time, variable schedule based on St. Anne Home needs, plus Every Other Weekend. Starting at $15 per hour.
Activities Aide Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Desire to engage with the Senior community; experience preferred but not required. Computer literate with training on entering resident care plan codes (MDS), preferred. Must be able to speak, write and understand English.
Activities Aide Working Conditions:
Bending, standing, sitting, lifting, walking and moving intermittently during working hours. Must assist in the evacuation of residents as necessary.
Activities Aide Job Summary:
Assist in planning, organizing and implementing activities - movies, parties, games, crafts. Assist the Activity Director with preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of each resident. Review activities needs assessments. Develop and maintain a good rapport with all the services involved with the care plan. Encourage resident participation and social communication during group activities and recreation.
