Job Description

Part-Time Resident Engagement Coordinator. 4-days per pay = every other weekend and two weekdays.
Position Summary:
The Resident Engagement Coordinator is responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging environment for residents through life enrichment programs while providing support for medication administration and personal care needs. This role ensures residents experience meaningful activities that promote independence and well-being, while maintaining safety, compliance, and person-centered care. High school diploma or equivalent; training in life enrichment or therapeutic recreation preferred. Valid PA driver's license to operate company vehicles. Medical Technician certification required, however, willing to train. CPR and First aid certification. Minimum three years of experience in senior living or long-term care experience preferred. Ability to complete DHS Direct Care Certification and maintain compliance with state regulations. Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and ability to engage residents in meaningful activities. Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook; ability to document accurately. PointClickCare knowledge preferred, willingness to learn and use ICON. Physical ability to assist residents and operate assistive devices (wheelchairs, lifts, gait belt, etc.). Ability to work weekend and holiday rotation. Knowledge of infection control, HIPAA compliance, and resident rights. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Language Proficiency :
Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
