Position Overview:

The duties of the Therapeutic Activity Worker involve providing escort service, direct care, and program assistant to developmentally disabled individuals. Work is performed under the direction of the Program Instructors in respective areas of assignment and the Program Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Implements individual goal plans, alternate and /or back-up activities, and documents residents' attendance and progress in the program areas. Assists in organizing and conduction of special events and off

• campus trips.

Assists the residents' activities of daily living; such as, toileting, feeding and other personal hygiene needs. Provides guidance in social, recreational, education and therapeutic activities.
