Full Job Description:
Our Activities aides will assist the Recreation Director in providing outstanding recreation programs that provide our residents with an active and enjoyable lifestyle. Individualized planning and attention will be given to each resident, based upon his or her personal recreation needs and interests. Our goal is to provide the most interesting, stimulating, and enjoyable recreation services possible. Essential Duties of Position 1. Assists the Recreation Director in planning and coordinating activities and events for residents and their loved ones. 2. Prepares and leads activities as directed and implements back up activities as needed. 3. Escorts and encourages residents to attend and participate in activities and events 4. Assists with resident transportation to events and activities, both inside and outside of the facility (including but not limited to driving company vehicle) 5. Assist with maintaining an inventory of supplies and equipment, reporting to the Recreation Director with any facility and/or resident needs. 6. Semiannual Performance Evaluations/Appraisals Requirements:
1. High School diploma or GED 2. Valid US Driver's License 3. Ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service 4. At least one year experience in a nursing facility preferred. 5. Willingness to complete Direct Care Training 6. Valid CPR certification.
