A high school diploma or GED preferred Experience in a Geriatric role is desirable What you will do as an
Activities Aide :
Assist the Activities Director in planning, developing, organizing and implementing the activities program. Assist with resident activities, crafts, and social engagement opportunities. Work cooperatively with other departments, visitors and volunteers to provide companionship and support to residents while promoting dignity and quality of life. Assist in the creation of an activity calendar for residents of different functioning levels. Keep accurate records for those you work with and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing department immediately. Ensure that the dignity of all residents is preserved as you carry out working tasks.
