Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to energize and enrich the lives of residents in Personal Care Home setting. Duties:
Develop and implement diverse activity programs tailored to residents' interests, abilities, and care needs Coordinate resident events such as social gatherings, recreational outings, arts and crafts sessions, and promote community involvement Build strong rapport with residents by understanding their preferences, histories, and individual needs to foster meaningful connections Manage schedules for activities and ensure timely setup, execution, and cleanup of events while maintaining a safe environment Collaborate with caregiving staff to integrate therapeutic activities that enhance cognitive function and emotional well-being Maintain detailed records of resident participation, activity feedback, and program outcomes to continuously improve offerings Sort and store donations
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate Be dependable and flexible to developing needs Have the ability to sit, stand, walk, manage stairs, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the work day Previous activity experience preferred Be willing to work in cooperation with staff and the Board of Directors to promote the mission of the Ruth M.
