Job Description
Hiring Salary Range $60,737.36
- $78,958.77/annually, DOE Grade 116 Work Schedule Monday
- Friday, 8am
- 5pm; some evenings and weekends may be required

This position plans, develops, and implements wellness and physical fitness programs, and provides technical and instructional assistance to fitness program participants. To best serve the students, department, and college, this position requires a physical presence on campus, with the possibility of partial remote work depending on business needs. Essential Functions 20%- Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of staff; coordinates the maintenance of the facility 15%
- Plans, develops, and implements wellness programs: district, employee, student, community, and third party; evaluates program effectiveness and makes improvement recommendations 15%
- Coordinates programs and schedules; maintains class and fitness program records 10%
- Develops, prepares, and distributes marketing materials and related communications; identifies program opportunities involving businesses and the community 10%
- Demonstrates fitness techniques and equipment usage; provides technical and instructional assistance to program participants; troubleshoots and performs minor maintenance on fitness equipment 10%
- Prepares and monitors assigned budget and program expenditures; coordinates merchandise inventory and sales; evaluates equipment needs and makes recommendations for equipment acquisition or replacement 10%
- Provides customer service to staff, students, faculty, the local community, Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community, and others 5%
- Collaborates with the Fitness and Wellness department programs and other campus divisions/departments 5%
- Performs other duties as assigned
