Join the team at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach as our Activities Supervisor ! In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising a variety of fun and engaging activities for our guests and residents while leading our Activities team to deliver exceptional experiences throughout the year. What You'll Do Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop Activities team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Plan, coordinate, attend, and supervise a variety of resort activities and special events, including picnics, sporting events, dances, dinners, holiday celebrations, and more. Create seasonal activity calendars that provide engaging experiences while staying within budget expectations. Prepare and manage monthly and annual department budgets. Maintain balance sheets for activities and events. Review, approve, document, and submit invoices for payment. Maintain activity and office supply inventories. Prepare and distribute the weekly resort newsletter for guests and residents. Answer guest and resident questions regarding activities and events. Prepare end-of-month reports and other reports as requested by resort leadership. Promote and market events both within the resort and throughout the local community to maximize participation. Prepare food for smaller events and coordinate with caterers for larger functions. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to negotiate pricing and contracts on behalf of the resort. Ability to build positive relationships with guests, residents, vendors, and fellow team members. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet applications. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
