Covenant Living is seeking an energetic and certified Wellness Coordinator to lead fitness and wellness programs that inspire older adults to stay active, engaged, and independent. In this role, you'll lead group exercise classes, develop wellness programming, coordinate special events, and motivate residents to achieve their health and wellness goals. The ideal candidate brings strong fitness instruction experience, a nationally recognized fitness certification, and a passion for serving older adults. Key Responsibilities Fitness Instruction & Resident Engagement Lead group fitness classes focused on strength, balance, flexibility, mobility, and fall prevention. Demonstrate safe and effective exercise techniques and modifications. Adapt programs to accommodate varying fitness levels and abilities. Foster a welcoming environment that encourages participation and healthy lifestyles. Monitor participants during activities to ensure safety and engagement. Resident Wellness Assess residents' interests, abilities, and wellness goals. Support residents in achieving personal wellness objectives. Provide education related to exercise, healthy aging, nutrition, and overall well-being. Track attendance and participation to evaluate program success. Program Development Develop and maintain monthly wellness calendars and activity schedules. Coordinate wellness events, health fairs, educational workshops, and presentations. Partner with nursing, therapy, and resident life teams to enhance overall wellness offerings. Continuously improve programming based on resident feedback and best practices. Required Certification Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications: ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist AFAA Group Fitness Instructor Equivalent nationally accredited fitness certification Why Join Covenant Living? SupportServices Compensation Pay Range:
$22.40 - $30.44 per hour Reasonable Pay Estimate A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $22.40 - $30.44 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
