Job Duties and Responsibilities Install and rig consoles in all boats to meet variable production goals. Know the difference in consoles for each model. Communicate with the Finish Supervisor regarding the delivery of consoles and kits. Acquire certification for forklift, crane, and tractor operations. Build appropriate consoles depending on motor type and boat model, and wire panels, switches, and lights in the console. Detect and fix errors on the console, including errors in fiberglass and paint, before working on the console or once it is installed. Derig and repair consoles for warranty or for paint. Attend and be attentive to training and continuing education. Review work orders and any other documentation to ensure quality standards are met. Take time to do things correctly the first time and proactively identify potential issues before they become problems. Follow all lawful safety and health rules and regulations, and wear or use prescribed protective equipment while working. Report hazardous conditions and any job-related injury or illness immediately to management. Other duties as assigned.
