Role Description The Fitness Service Coordinator & Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, Texas with occasional field service work. This role is responsible for coordinating and performing service, maintenance, and repairs on fitness and strength equipment at client facilities, ensuring equipment safety, optimal performance, and minimal downtime. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling and tracking service requests, managing parts and tools, troubleshooting equipment issues, executing preventative maintenance plans, and documenting work performed. The role also involves communicating with clients and internal teams about service timelines, equipment status, and follow-up needs, while providing clear, courteous customer support. Qualifications Service Coordination skills, including scheduling, follow-up, and documentation of service activities. Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service capabilities for working directly with clients and team members. Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain technical issues and solutions clearly. Operations Management skills related to organizing resources, managing inventory, and supporting field service logistics. Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude for installing, maintaining, and repairing fitness equipment. Ability to work on-site in Houston Texas, travel locally to customer locations, and safely handle tools and equipment. Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced service environment. Prior experience in fitness equipment service is preferred.
