As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents, promoting their overall wellness and social connections.

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activities and programs for residents, including but not limited to: Coordinating events and outings Developing and leading activities such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social gatherings Creating and managing activity calendars and schedules Collaborating with staff and volunteers to ensure activities meet the needs and interests of all residents Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, ensuring a positive and respectful environment Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, attendance, and resident participation Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology) preferred Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, or a related field, or equivalent education and training Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
