Our programming emphasizes six dimensions of wellness to help residents maintain cognitive function and physical mobility. We are seeking an Activity Assistant to execute daily activities that range from group cooking classes to sensory development exercises. The operations at Cheyenne prioritize consistent engagement to support our clinical goals. You will work directly with the Activity Director to ensure that the activities room, outdoor courtyard, and wellness gym are utilized effectively for resident socialization and recovery. Responsibilities Lead scheduled group activities including fitness routines, recreational sports, and musical activities. Facilitate social events such as ice cream socials, arts and crafts, and church services. Conduct mobile wellness visits and one-on-one sensory exercises for residents in their rooms. Assist in documenting resident participation and response to the wellness program. Prepare activity areas and transport residents to and from events within the facility. Managing supplies for cooking classes and art projects.

We maintain a high standard of upkeep to provide a calm, organized setting for both short-term recovery guests and long-term residents. Qualifications Must pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass a drug screening. Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to lead groups and speak clearly in a public setting.
