What You Will Be Doing:

The Recreation Specialist, Fitness position is responsible for organizing and cleaning equipment, providing high customer services with members, and enforcing fitness floor rules and regulations. Other duties include providing administrative and clerical support to the Recreation Division.Other essential functions include:
Customer-Focused Membership Services:
Leads and provides guest services including, but not limited to: conducting programs, taking program registration and facility rentals, and monitoring programs at City and joint-use facilities. Executes the setup, cleanup, and breakdown of programs, events, and activities.Safety:
Ensures the overall safety, health, and welfare of all individuals participating in programming and using the recreation facilities and services of the City. Monitors The Marq facility spaces and offsite spaces including parks and joint-use facilities.Attention to
Detail:
Performs tasks with care and is thorough, checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness, compares final work product to what is expected to find inconsistencies or errors, and remains aware and takes care of details that are easy to overlook or dismiss as insignificant.
