This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable leading a team, and able to confidently communicate with both staff and families. We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership, and can guide staff members to make sure Clover is operating at a high standard. Key Responsibilities Retail Market & Inventory Maintain and organize Clover's retail market Track inventory accurately using spreadsheets Monitor stock levels and communicate when products need to be reordered Create barcode stickers and properly label merchandise Enter new merchandise and pricing into our POS system Keep the market organized, stocked, and visually appealing Party Oversight Oversee all upcoming birthday parties and make sure the team is fully prepared Review party details ahead of time and confirm setups are complete Ensure food, drinks, supplies, and party rooms are prepared correctly Make sure party hosts understand their responsibilities before each party begins Step in to guide or correct staff when expectations are not being met Help ensure families receive a warm, organized, and high-quality party experience Assist with hosting parties when needed Handle party questions or concerns confidently and professionally Leadership & Daily Operations Help oversee staff during shifts and ensure team members are completing their assigned responsibilities Provide clear direction, coaching, and correction when needed Lead by example and help maintain Clover's standards for cleanliness, hospitality, and customer service Answer phones and confidently speak with families about parties, reservations, memberships, policies, and general questions Assist guests with concerns and help resolve issues professionally Help communicate important information between management and staff Support the General Manager with daily operations as needed Events & Programming Help prepare for and host special events, crafts, storytimes, sensory activities, and other weekday programming Coordinate event supplies and setups Help direct staff working special events Interact confidently and warmly with children and families What We're Looking For Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable using spreadsheets and learning POS systems Confident communicating with customers in person and over the phone Comfortable giving staff direction and holding team members accountable Able to anticipate problems and take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do Detail-oriented and reliable Friendly, professional, and calm under pressure Comfortable working in a busy, family-focused environment Available to work weekends, as parties and events are a major part of this position Previous management, hospitality, events, retail, restaurant, or customer-service experience is strongly preferred About Clover Clover Playground & Cafe is a thoughtfully designed indoor playground and cafe serving families with children ages 0 to 10.
