08/26/2026 Position Announcement Utah Tech University is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven University Recruiter to lead enrollment efforts focused on prospective students interested in the University's nationally recognized Club Sports programs. This position serves as the primary admissions representative for club sports recruitment, with an emphasis on Mountain Biking, Pickleball, Golf, Wrestling, Esports, and others. Working collaboratively with the Admissions Office and the Club Sports Office, the New Student Coordinator will identify, engage, and guide prospective student-athletes through the admissions and enrollment process. This position requires frequent communication with students, families, coaches, and campus partners while representing Utah Tech University at recruitment events throughout the year. This is a year-round, part-time position based on the Utah Tech University campus in St. George, Utah, and requires periodic evening and weekend travel. Responsibilities Serve as the primary admissions recruiter for prospective students interested in Utah Tech University's Club Sports programs. Develop and maintain relationships with club sport coaches and prospective students/ parents. Coordinate recruitment strategies with the Admissions and Club Sports Offices to set and achieve enrollment goals. Guide prospective students and their families through the admissions, financial aid, scholarship, housing, and enrollment processes. Maintain regular communication with prospective students using the University's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Conduct individual appointments, virtual meetings, presentations, and campus visits for prospective students interested in club sports. Assist in planning and hosting on-campus recruitment events, visit days, and club sports showcases. Track recruitment activity, maintain accurate prospect records, and provide reports on recruitment outcomes. Support Admissions recruitment initiatives and special events as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Relevant education and/or professional experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, marketing, customer service, education, or a related field is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to build relationships with prospective students, families, coaches, and campus partners. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments. Valid driver's license. Ability to work evenings and weekends as recruitment activities require. Preferred Qualifications Experience in college admissions, higher education recruitment, athletic recruiting, coaching, student services, or a related field. Participation in collegiate athletics, club sports, or intramural sports is preferred. Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, preferably Element451. Familiarity with collegiate recruitment and enrollment processes. Knowledge of Utah Tech University and its academic programs. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based technologies. Ability to analyze recruitment data and adapt recruitment strategies. Professionalism, initiative, and enthusiasm while representing Utah Tech University. Working Conditions Position is based on the Utah Tech University campus in St. George, Utah. Year-round, part-time schedule. Evening and weekend work required during peak recruitment periods. Ability to lift and transport recruitment materials weighing up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods during recruitment events. Supplemental Information

Part-time hourly staff position (up to 29 hours per week). Hourly rate of $20/hr.
