As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities. • Assist in planning and organizing a variety of activities and events for residents in a nursing home or assisted living setting
• Engage residents in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to promote physical and mental well-being
• Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans ```Experience```
• Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors is preferred
• Knowledge of event planning and social work principles is a plus
