Activity Aide Part Time

Activities Assistant (Part-Time | ~30 Hours/Week) We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team and help enrich the lives of our residents. In this role, you'll support the planning and delivery of engaging programs that promote social connection, physical activity, and overall well-being. Schedule (~30 hours/week):

Tuesday:

3:00 PM•7:00

PM Wednesday:

10:00 AM•7:00

PM Thursday:

10:00 AM•7:00 PM Every other

Sunday:

10:00 AM•7:00 PM Includes weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning and implementing a monthly activity calendar Lead and support group and one-on-one activities for residents Escort residents to and from activities within the facility Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents and families Document attendance and resident engagement Observe and report changes in resident mood, behavior, or participation Assist with special events, outings, and family/resident meetings

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with seniors or in a care setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Positive, patient, and team-oriented attitude Basic computer skills

Additional Requirements:

Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies Ability to assist residents physically as needed (walking, light lifting, etc.) Willingness to complete required training and participate in drills
