At The Classic at Hillcrest Greens, we believe in creating a vibrant and engaging environment for our residents. We are seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support our activity programming and help bring joy to the lives of our residents. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about working with seniors to enrich their daily experiences.Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning, preparing, and leading activities and programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
- Support residents' participation in activities, encouraging involvement and fostering a sense of community.
- Help organize events such as games, crafts, musical sessions, outings, and wellness-focused activities.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all activities.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences.
Requirements :
- Enthusiasm for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with residents of all backgrounds.
- Creativity and adaptability in planning and implementing activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Evening hours required including special events.
- Weekend availability as required (every 4th weekend).
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in senior living or activity coordination is a plus.
- Knowledge of recreational therapy or related fields is desirable but not required.
