Activity Assistant Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team at Care and Rehab- Cumberland. The Activity Assistant will be responsible for planning and implementing recreational activities for residents, as well as assisting with daily living tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a long-term care setting and a passion for improving the quality of life for elderly individuals. Responsibilities Plan and implement recreational activities for residents Encourage socialization and engagement among residents Assist with meal times and feeding, as needed Document resident participation and progress Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Experience working in a nursing home or similar environment preferred CNA license preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient demeanor
