Activity aide Serenity Spring Senior Living at Green Bay Green Bay, WI Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Recreation therapy Group facilitation in therapy High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description Serenity Spring Senior Living at Green Bay is seeking a dynamic and caring individual for a Part Time position within the Activities Department. Experience is a plus. Individual must be willing to work every other weekend / holiday. This position requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families.
Position duties include:
Establish rapport with Alzheimer's/Dementia care residents and their families Develop approaches/interventions to meet the psychosocial needs of residents Collaborate with Activity Director to develop and run programming ideas for residents Demonstrate knowledge and experience with residents having dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions Must be able to work with a team Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect Must have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, creativity, patience and energy Required experience: High school diploma or equivalent At least one year experience in pediatrics and/or geriatrics recreation Be able to facilitate group programs independently Positive attitude and energy Strong communication, interpersonal and written/reading skills Valid driver's license
