September 2026 - March 2027 (Opportunity for larger role in 2027) About the Role Playpen Sports Academy and Playgrounder Sports Academy are looking for an energetic, reliable, and community-minded Youth Sports & Community Engagement Coordinator to help support and grow our programs in the Green Bay area. This is a hands-on part-time position that combines youth sports coaching, on-site program support, and community outreach. You will work directly with young athletes on a weekly basis while also helping us build relationships with local schools, daycares, churches, and other community organizations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, has a passion for sports, communicates well with families and community partners, and is comfortable taking initiative to help our programs grow. What You'll Do Youth Sports & Coaching Coach and assist with Playpen Sports Academy classes for children ages 2-6. Coach and support Playgrounder Sports Academy youth soccer leagues. Create a fun, positive, and organized environment where kids can learn and develop. Follow established lesson plans and curriculum while bringing energy and enthusiasm to each session. Help ensure classes and leagues run smoothly and provide a great experience for players and families. Step in to assist with coaching coverage when needed. On-Site Program Support Serve as a consistent on-site representative for our programs in the Green Bay area. Help ensure coaches are prepared and classes/leagues are running smoothly. Assist with equipment, setup, transitions, and other on-site needs. Communicate professionally with parents and help answer questions when needed. Help identify opportunities to improve the experience for families and coaches. Community Outreach & Growth Build and maintain relationships with local schools, daycares, churches, and other community organizations. Reach out to potential community partners to introduce our programs and explore opportunities to work together. Help coordinate program demonstrations, promotional opportunities, and community events. Represent Playpen Sports Academy and Playgrounder Sports Academy professionally throughout the Green Bay community. Help identify opportunities to increase awareness and participation in our local programs. Assist with grassroots marketing and other efforts to grow registration. Fall 2026 Schedule The expected fall schedule will be approximately:

Saturday:

8:30 AM-12:00 PM (Playpen Sports Academy toddler classes)

Monday-Wednesday:

4:30 PM-6:00 PM (Playgrounder Sports Academy soccer leagues during October) This provides approximately 8 hours per week of scheduled on-site coaching/program support during the fall. In addition, approximately 2-3 hours per week will be dedicated to community outreach, relationship building, and program growth. Outreach hours may vary depending on the season, program schedule, and community opportunities.

Typical total:

Approximately 10 hours per week The schedule may change throughout the year as our programs and seasons change, with opportunities for additional hours based on program needs. What We're Looking For Experience working with children, preferably in youth sports, education, childcare, recreation, or a similar setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with children ages 2-6. Energetic, positive, patient, and dependable. Comfortable communicating with parents, coaches, school staff, daycare directors, and other community partners. Self-motivated and willing to take initiative. Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities. Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team. Previous coaching or playing experience in soccer or another youth sport is a plus, but not required. Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally within the Green Bay area. Compensation $15-$20 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position averaging approximately 10 hours per week, depending on the season and program schedule. Additional hours may be available at certain times of the year for coaching coverage, community events, outreach, training, and program development. Why Join Us? Playgrounder Sports Academy provides youth soccer programming designed to help young players learn the game, develop their skills, and most importantly, have fun. Together, our programs serve families throughout the community with a focus on fun, development, organization, and creating a positive experience for every child.
