In this position, you will help plan, organize, and lead engaging activities that promote social interaction, physical well-being, and personal growth. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant and inclusive environment for all participants. Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and organizing daily activities and events for residents.
  • Facilitate engaging group activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Provide one-on-one interaction and support to residents during activities.
  • Set up and clean up activity areas, ensuring a safe and inviting environment.
  • Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying needs and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive activities program.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding activity schedules and resident needs.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials for upcoming events and activities.
  • Support residents during outings and special events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
  • Monitor inventory and report any needs for supplies or equipment related to activities.
  • Stay updated on new activity trends and techniques to enhance the program.
