Full Job Description Oak View Group:

Position Summary:
Ticket sellers are an information center who understand and operate ticketing systems and provide excellent customer service to all guests at the Saenger Theatre. This position is on-site at the Saenger Theatre. Standard business hours apply, with flexibility required to support events, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. Must maintain regular attendance and a professional presence. This role pays an hourly rate $12.00-$15.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. Venue:
The Saenger Theater seats 1,900 patrons and hosts over 70,000 guests annually. It is the home of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and has hosted national acts such as The Avett Brothers, Willie Nelson, Chicago, The Black Jacket Symphony, Vince Gill, Bob Dylan, and more.
Responsibilities:
Know and understand the operation of ticketing systems Familiarize yourself with each event (ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, reserved or general admission seating, etc.) Know and understand the seating charts and configurations of the Mobile Convention Center, Regions Arena, and Saenger Theatre Perform transactions for all events on the ticketing system with efficiency and accuracy Collect the proper currency or credit card amount for purchase of ticket(s) as well as give back the proper number of tickets and correct change Communicate and satisfy patrons in the most positive manner possible Direct patrons to the nearest ticket taker Reconcile money for ticket sales received Keep accurate and legible records Maintain confidentiality Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Prior ticketing experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work on a flexible schedule including but not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
