Job Description

Come to our open hiring event Thursday, August 6th at 10 am! Position Overview We are seeking energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic team members to join our Haunted Neighborhood team in a unique hybrid role that combines scare acting with ticket sales/customer service responsibilities. In this position, you'll help bring our immersive haunted attractions to life inside the experience while also assisting guests at the ticket counter when needed. This is a great role for performers who enjoy interacting with the public and helping create memorable guest experiences from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Scare Actor Duties Perform as a character within our haunted attractions Deliver fun, engaging scares appropriate for a family-friendly environment Stay fully in character while interacting with guests Confidently initiate scares and interact with customers Follow safety and performance guidelines Work collaboratively with cast members to maintain immersive storytelling Maintain costume and character appearance Adapt performance energy based on crowd levels Ticket Sales & Cashier Duties Sell admission tickets and answer guest questions about attractions Process transactions using POS system Provide friendly, welcoming guest service Assist guests in choosing the best experience options Maintain an organized and clean ticket sales area Help manage guest flow and wait times Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move for extended periods Comfortable working in low-light or themed environments Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (props, merchandise boxes, set pieces, signage, etc.) Ability to navigate stairs and tight spaces safely Ideal Candidate Loves Halloween, haunted houses, and immersive entertainment Outgoing and confident — not shy or hesitant about scaring guests Comfortable performing in front of groups Friendly, energetic, and dependable Able to switch between performance mode and customer service mode Strong communication skills Comfortable handling cash and card transactions Works well in a fast-paced environment Punctual and responsible Weekend and evening availability preferred
