Job Description

The Kansas City Mavericks are looking for a driven and enthusiastic intern to join our team during the 2026 - 2027 season. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors at all levels (both internally and externally) and take pride in all work completed. The individual needs to be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and meet demanding deadlines. Individual must also have the ability to work independently, take initiative, provide solutions, and make informed decisions. Essential Duties Learn ticket sales strategies and techniques, develop plan to increase group sales and season tickets sales over the course of the season Assist with pregame setup of ticket table and tent, Zamboni tunnel banner, suite banners, etc. Provide gameday support to the ticket sales staff, answer incoming calls prior to opening gates and man the concourse table during games, assist with staging of choirs and groups Learn Ticketmaster and Archtics sales system Interact with Season Ticket Holders and individual game attendees, answer ticket specific questions and resolve situations as necessary Help gameday staff with door giveaways, intermission activities, and other various theme night promotions, assist with post-game tear down and storage of concourse material, assist with post-game skates as needed Other roles and responsibilities may be required Qualifications Current college student (undergraduate or graduate). Must be able to receive course credit.
