Position Summary Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team. This role is responsible for managing guest reservations, maximizing room revenue, and delivering exceptional service from the very first interaction. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound reservation inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels. Accurately book, modify, and cancel hotel reservations while ensuring all guest information is entered correctly. Provide guests with detailed information regarding room types, rates, packages, promotions, hotel amenities, and policies. Identify opportunities to upsell room categories, packages, and hotel experiences. Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel availability, occupancy, and revenue strategies. Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless arrivals. Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions and special requests. Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure compliance with company standards. Assist with group reservations and special events as needed. Perform additional duties assigned by management. Qualifications Previous hotel reservations, front office, call center, or luxury hospitality experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with hotel property management systems and reservation platforms preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Authorization to work in the United States.
