Job Description

Job Summary:
Marina Village Resort is seeking a dependable and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Access Control / Reservations Associate . This part-time position is responsible for managing the front gate, handling guest access, and overseeing reservation-related tasks. The role follows a fixed weekly schedule of Sunday through Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM .
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the MVR gate to ensure only those authorized gain access. Greet and assist MVR members, WWS owners, guests, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Confirm, process, and update reservations using the resort's reservation spreadsheets. Verify membership and guest credentials in line with resort policies. Answer incoming phone calls and emails regarding resort information and reservations. Maintain clear and accurate logs as required by supervisor. Communicate with management and other staff as needed. Keep the gatehouse tidy, organized, and operational at all times. Close pools at scheduled times. Make rounds to pools ensuring rule compliance. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or general manager.
Requirements:
Prior experience in customer service, access control, or reservations preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency is required, including experience with Word, Excel, and email. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be available to work the assigned schedule without exceptions. Flexibility to occasionally cover additional shifts during other employees' time off.
