Job Description
Pink Pony Pub | Gulf Shores, Alabama The Pink Pony Pub is an iconic beachfront restaurant in Gulf Shores with a long-standing reputation for great food, outstanding service, and a fun atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations and take ownership of the kitchen. This is a leadership position for someone who is passionate about building a strong team, maintaining high standards, and creating consistency in every aspect of the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all back-of-house operations.
- Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and portion control.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members.
- Manage scheduling, inventory, ordering, and food cost.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance.
- Create efficient kitchen systems and prep procedures.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and professional kitchen culture.
- Work closely with restaurant management to continually improve operations.
- Experience with restaurant POS systems is preferred. Back-office menu management experience is a plus. Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing food cost, inventory, ordering, and labor.
- Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
- A hands-on leader who leads by example and earns the respect of the team.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$65,000.00- $80,000.
