Full Job Description Description:
The Assistant manager is responsible for effectively leading the Restaurant and every hourly Team Member toward the attainment of agreed-upon goals and profits. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Key Responsibilities Provide Leadership by creating and encouraging excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment to company objectives. Role Modeling the "Cicis Guest promise" with the team and Guests Work Open, Lunch, Dinner and Closing Shifts as needed. Setting an example of excellent working knowledge and high level of proficiency in all phases of Restaurant Operations Responsible for Building Sales and managing restaurant profitability Recruit, hire, develop Team Members, Shift Leaders, and Assistant Managers Successfully maintain GER compliance by meeting or exceeding a passing score of 70% or higher Ensure all Cash Handling procedures are followed, including but not limited to, daily bank deposit procedures Ensure that correct inventory levels are kept, including but not limited to, weekly food, paper and smallwares orders, as well as ensuring all equipment is maintained in excellent condition Uphold Cicis restaurant cleanliness standards by following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists Under the direction of the GM, ensure that all HR related paperwork is submitted to HR within a timely manner, this includes but is not limited to, Incident forms, Termination paperwork, Employee Pay Rate Change forms, Internal & External promotion paperwork, etc. Under the direction of the GM, ensure schedules are completed by Thursday EOD for review by Area Coach (AC) Under the direction of the GM, execute appropriate corrective actions in all disciplinary situations through consultation with Area Coach (AC) and HR Under the direction of the GM, ensure that weekly paperwork and administrative duties are completed and turned in to Support Center as required Follow all POP requirements. Engage and participate in all Local Restaurant Marketing initiatives Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings
Requirements:
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, motivator, confidence Customer service focused and oriented Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict Outgoing personality able to develop relationships and leading others Demonstrates the highest professionalism Bilingual skills a plus Must be able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week and a flexible schedule necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time & the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic understanding of POS equipment
Education Experience Required:
High School diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in related position preferred SERV Safe certification preferred Must be able to pass a background check Must have a valid State issued driver's license Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple restaurants Must have current and valid insurance on vehicle Must have the ability to become SERV Safe compliant Basic knowledge of
