Job Description

Job Overview Town Pump is a historic Little Rock dive bar and grill, established 1969. We are in need of a General Manager to take stewardship of the building, the bar program, and the guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to run a bar, not just staff and work at one. Schedule Nights and Weekends Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Building Maintenance- Developing a strong sense of what maintenance issues can be handled by yourself and your staff, and what must be outsourced. Documenting issues and seeing the fixes through to completion. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to maintain high standards. Guest Satisfaction- Protecting what makes the Town Pump what it is. The regulars, the employees, the atmosphere, the consistency. Control inventory levels, monitor food costs, and implement effective stock management practices. Careful daily accounting, plus inventory and cost management. Ensure compliance with health regulations, sanitation standards, and safety procedures across all departments. Analyze profit and loss statements to optimize financial performance and identify growth opportunities. Requirements Proven bar management experience Demonstrated leadership in managing staff training and conducting interviews. Experience in food safety management, inventory control, and food production processes. Strong communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer service excellence. Pay:
$54,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
