Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff supervision Lead staff training and development to ensure high levels of customer service and food safety standards Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain quality and consistency Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste Utilize POS systems such as for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and cleanliness standards Support management in budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and implementing cost-control measures Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and efficient service delivery Participate in hiring interviews and evaluate staff performance for ongoing improvement Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with assistant manager experience preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, and food safety management practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience managing hospitality teams or kitchen staff Excellent communication skills for managerial communication, team training, and customer service excellence Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly Experience with inventory control, food production, catering.
