Job Summary We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee our operations, purchasing, and sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, drivers, purchasing, sales, and receivables, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of food products while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations:
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping of food products. Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and systems to maximize productivity.
Driver Coordination:
Oversee the scheduling and execution of deliveries and communicate with drivers to ensure efficient operations and customer service.
Sales Oversight:
Work with the sales team to ensure growth and customer service.
Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Purchasing and Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels, perform regular audits, and ensure accuracy in stock counts. Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to meet product demand efficiently.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety training and inspections to promote a safe working environment.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics and inventory levels. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience in the food industry , preferably the Hispanic food industry. Must be fluent in English and Spanish Strong leadership and team management skills.
