Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager (must have 3+ years in prior management) to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your enthusiasm for the food industry and hospitality will drive the success of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, team supervision, and restaurant operations, with a focus on fostering a positive work environment and achieving business goals. Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team Oversee inventory control, food production, and food safety procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability Implement staff scheduling and shift management to meet customer demand while maintaining labor efficiency Foster a welcoming environment by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills Proven leadership in supervising hospitality teams with excellent communication and team management abilities Deep understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and health regulations Strong background in inventory control, food management, catering, banquet operations, and food production processes Ability to analyze profit and loss statements; skilled in budgeting and financial planning Exceptional training & development skills for staff onboarding, ongoing education, and performance improvement Experience managing hospitality teams across various roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor Knowledge of culinary techniques including barista work or coffee service is a plus; experience in hotel or catering environments is advantageous Excellent managerial communication skills; adept at interviewing candidates and building effective teams Demonstrated ability to lead with energy, motivate staff, and create an engaging dining atmosphere Join us to lead a vibrant restaurant where your passion for hospitality fuels success!
