This role owns prep lists, station setup, portioning, and plating consistency, enforces recipe cards and SOPs across the team, manages BOH scheduling and staff accountability, handles inventory, ordering, and food cost control, keeps us compliant on health and safety, and works closely with management on labor and food cost percentages — we're looking for someone with real kitchen leadership experience (Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar), a systems-first mindset, and the ability to keep a line running smoothly under pressure; if you're organized, hands-on, and know how to make a kitchen run like clockwork, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Oversee all back-of-house operations, including line execution, prep, inventory, and sanitation Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff to maintain consistency and accountability Coordinate and execute food service for corporate events, private functions, and full buyouts Maintain strict control over food and labor costs while ensuring quality and efficiency Collaborate with FOH and events teams to ensure smooth, timely service across all functions Uphold health and safety compliance across all areas of kitchen operations Manage vendor relationships, ordering, and inventory to support both daily service and events Set and enforce kitchen standards for prep, plate presentation, and cleanliness Adapt quickly to changing service needs, with a focus on proactive problem-solving Who You Are Bilingual (Spanish/English)
