Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring efficient shift management, and maintaining high standards of service. Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to guarantee quality and safety compliance across all kitchen activities. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash responsibly, and monitor sales data. Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, food production, and operational procedures to develop a skilled hospitality team. Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs and profitability. Supervise food production activities including catering, banquets, quick service, fast food operations, and casual dining services to ensure timely delivery. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for growth, implement budgeting strategies, and support overall restaurant profitability. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in supervising hospitality teams within casual dining or quick service environments. Hands-on knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and sales tracking. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training, coaching, interviewing, and performance management. Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control, budgeting, and profit/loss analysis. Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial roles in hospitality settings; capable of managing shift operations smoothly. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in the food industry is highly desirable; culinary or kitchen management experience is a plus.
