Full-time SB Fish Market Goleta Assistant Manager Pay:
$24.00 per hour + Tips We are looking for an experienced, motivated Front of House Assistant Manager to join our busy seafood restaurant and fish market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with seafood and hospitality experience who is looking to grow into a higher-level management position. This is a hands-on working manager position. You will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations, working alongside the team while providing leadership and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Oversee daily front-of-house operations for both the restaurant and fish market Lead by example while working alongside the front-of-house team Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally Assist with scheduling, training, and onboarding new employees Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards Coordinate with the kitchen and seafood market teams to ensure smooth operations Help manage inventory, ordering, and daily opening/closing procedures Support management in achieving sales and operational goals Qualifications Previous restaurant management or supervisor experience required Seafood restaurant or fish market experience strongly preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Open availability is required , including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Willingness to work on the floor and lead by example in a hands-on management role What We Offer Starting pay of $24.00 per hour plus tips Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunities for advancement into senior management Supportive team environment Ongoing training and professional development Stable, year-round employment If you're passionate about seafood, enjoy leading a team, and are ready to build a long-term career with opportunities for growth, we'd love to hear from you.
