Position Summary The Restaurant General Manager (GM) oversees our restaurant, and you will be held accountable for the restaurant's financial and operational performance. As a restaurant general manager, you will staff, interview, hire, and train teams, as well as coach, manage, and develop them. You must ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. As a restaurant general manager, you must be able to lead a team and provide excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate has 4-5 years of experience managing a restaurant or similar role in the customer service industry. If this sounds like an exciting opportunity to showcase your Responsibilities Develop a clear plan for the restaurant that takes into account the market, local competitors, sales revenue, and expenses Aim to provide the best possible dining experience for all of our customers Examine each product and service for quality in accordance with the standards set by the company Build restaurant staff through recruiting, interviewing, and training food service professionals Maintain food and dining product inventories and make precise projections about future sales trends Hold team members accountable by conducting performance reviews with them and using performance management Works with sales team to plan and execute banquets & catering Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management and operations Strong staff training and team management skills Expertise in food service management and kitchen oversight Familiarity with POS systems, including Aloha and Micros Background in food preparation and inventory control Experience in casual and fine dining environments Ability to supervise and interview staff effectively
